Nourish your next step.
One plant-based dinner is a lovely beginning. It isn’t a complete nutritional plan.
Variety makes a difference
Enjoy a range of vegetables, fruit, beans, lentils, whole grains, nuts and seeds, suited to your allergies. A fully vegan diet needs planning to provide the nutrients you need.
A reliable source of vitamin B12
If you eat a fully vegan diet, you need a reliable source of vitamin B12, such as appropriately fortified foods or supplements. Seek personalised advice from a qualified health professional if you are unsure.
Practical, not perfect
Fortified plant drinks can help contribute nutrients including calcium and vitamin B12. They aren’t automatically excluded by our whole-food focused approach. Check labels for fortification and allergens. Pay attention to vitamin D, iodine, iron, calcium and omega-3 fats too.
Always check ingredient packaging and cross-contamination information. This journal provides meal ideas, not medical advice or supplement doses.
